PREGINET shores up PSHS Alumni Homecoming Shindig

The Philippine Research, Education and Government Information Network (PREGINET) provided technical assistance on video streaming and Wi-Fi connectivity for the PSHS Alumni Homecoming held at the PSHS Diliman Campus last September 04, 2010.

Survivor Pisay Edition – PISAY-VIVOR!” was the chosen theme stressing that “PSHS alumni are equipped, by virtue of their education, to overcome challenges and tribulations that come their way.”

UP Manila and Metropolitan Hospital join APAN’s Medical Working Group Sessions

Manila, Philippines — The University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) and the Metropolitan Hospital through the Philippine Research, Education and Government Information Network (PREGINET), remotely participated yesterday the Medical Working Group Sessions of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN). The Medical Working Group was part of 30th APAN Meeting held on August 9-13, 2010 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

PREGINET to launch CONNECT-Asia in the Philippines

The Philippine Research, Education and Government Information Network (PREGINET) will launch the COllaboration for Network-eNabled Education, Culture, Technology and sciences (CONNECT) on July 27, 2010 in the Philippines.

The initiative is made in order to promote e-Learning activities and encourage more collaborative events in the Philippines. Expected participants for the said event will come from research institutes, state colleges, private universities, government agencies, and medical community.

PREGINET participates NSTW 2010

The Philippine Research, Education and Government Information Network (PREGINET) yesterday participated in the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) celebration held at Manila Hotel’s Centennial Hall. The science community chose “Filipinnovation, The Way Forward” as the NSTW 2010′s theme as it drives the country to a culture of innovation.
